Available for long term rental, our cottage is located in Sausalito, CA near historic Caledonia Street. Close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment and a ten minute walk to the the Golden Gate ferry which offers one of the world’s most beautiful commutes to the city of San Francisco. Sausalito is located in Marin County adjacent to, and largely bounded by, the protected spaces of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
The cottage has recently been restored and furnished – featuring 900 square ft, pitched ceilings, fireplace, contemporary kitchen, breakfast nook, washer and dryer, loft space, Heath tile shower, all new appliances, TV and Internet and a private back yard. It is located behind our home, which is one of the first homes built in Sausalito in the late 1800’s.

A friend who is recovering from a stroke is looking for a place to rent for about a year while recovering. Is this place easy to access? Available for that length of time? What is the rent and what is included?

Hi Kabita, thanks for getting in touch. Yes, cottage is easy to access and available as long as needed. – walking distance to markets, dry cleaning, restaurants, downtown Sausalito. We are a 1/2 block from Caledonia St. Everything is included ready to move in. Furnished, linens, kitchen appliances, pots, pans, dishes, microwave, etc. Cable + Sonos, all utilities, plus monthly cleaning and gardening service. Street parking (exta $40 yr. paid to the city).
